Side Note: Remind me to never put white flooring anywhere in my home in the future. It is an absolute nightmare and shows all the dirt!
I'll go ahead and post my first photo project up here as well. Our teacher asked us to create a series of 10 photos of urban landscape. My problem with this assignment, the only genres of photography I have ever really liked are either nature or portraits. It was difficult for me to make a decision as to what I was going to aim for with this project, so while Gianluca was telling us about different urban landscape photographers, he shared a series of photos of black and whites of old mill buildings. I realized that while I might not enjoy taking pictures of people naturally interacting with urban surroundings, I can find parts about architecture that I do like. If you didn't know, Florence has a vast array of doors literally everywhere. The door to my building looks like a medieval castle which I find to be uber cool. So, here we are. I settled with doors and now I'm sharing with you.
OH! And my photography teacher decided that since the contemporary section of the museum was not open today, we were going to finish our work in the darkroom, thus I got to develop my very first print!
